hi guys! I am recently new at this forum. I would like to ask you which app is good to start doing some 3d or 2d. I am open to both of them.

    Good time to make your first post (at least, from the time zone you're in). In terms of 3d modelling gear, the big difficulty early on can be the learning curve, I've heard things like Lightwave or 3DS MAX described as programs which, if you want to learn how to use them, you have to already know how to use them. Generally, I've found it easier to get something less powerful but more user-friendly early on, so you can learn the basics and the terminology, and then progress on to the more detailed stuff on something a bit more hefty.

    My main piece of advice, though, is take the time to do the tutorials in whichever program you choose! I'm sure there are far more experienced people than I who'll be willing to tell you a good program to use; I'm a Cinema 4D user myself and I've found it to be a nifty little program.

    i am thinking about blender or 3ds max or even both!
