There are so many good looking NCC-1701A models and projects going on around here. I would like to give a go at modeling the Enterprise and was wondering where I could find the absolute best NCC-1701A blueprints/drawings?
I downloaded some of the blueprints at the LCARS website. Some of them look much better than others. Just wondering if there is a definitive set of blueprints that are more accurate than others, or maybe it doesn't matter all that much.
Blueprints are nice, though if you are a stickler for accuracy you will find that most blueprints are imperfect.
They cannot be trusted entirely on anything. Sometimes it's just some details that are off, sometimes the size of the nacelles, or the shape of some part, or even the general positioning of parts, angles of pylons, curves that are present or not...
Screenshots also cannot always be trusted, since sometimes for closeup shots they build entirely new models, case in point:
I'm uploading a zip of the studio model photos I collected, there are some damn near orthographic shots of the saucer, the nacelle, and the hull in there. Those should give you all you need to establish the general proportions. The rest is mostly closeup shots of pretty much every part of the model from many angles. (file is ~500MB, I'll edit the link in when it's done uploading).
Thank you so much Melak. I am downloading the zip file now.

Just finished giving the pictures a quick scan. Great images! Thank you once again Melak. That was very generous of you and greatly appreciated.

And there's also this shot which is a pretty good adjusted side view:
