I can see why John never complained about being shipped off to space while everyone else got to do cool stuff.

lol I sit corrected. I like the logo as well, great job.
Many years ago I help run an RPG freeform based on TBs. Where the writer (Not me) had added in all these nice real world emotional elements to the characters. Virgil was always secretly pissed off with Scott, because TB1 is faster than TB2. So that meant Scott got to the scene first, and got all the glory from the public (and more importantly the girls), then TB2 would show save the day and Scott would fly off home to a nice warm dinner, meanwhile TB2 lands some time latter and dinner is cold or dried out from reheating.......

    Ha, brilliant!

Not sure about the return journey, though. The spec sheet I have written down for these versions says that TB1 flies back at a similar speed to TB2, as its speed to get to a location from Tracy Island comes from it being practically sub-orbital and it only launches like that on the way out. The big thing I can see is that they land and are on call within the hour again. Not much chance to sleep. It'd be like the first episode of BSG ("33") every single day. But their position in the hierarchy is always good for characterisation. Like in the movie where they're escorting Zero-X and Gordon gets clearly pissed off that he can't do anything (like a submarine is going to be useful there).

I guess that's always the problem, if you don't multi-task your crew. After all, if Scott tired wouldn't it be handy if Gordon could fly TB1 for s shift. (Or maybe 'ol Jeff needs to knock out a few more kids in his spare time with the lady P......erm sorry slight insight into my sick mind there I think.)

separate your letters, give them a little rotation, and time offset them a little.
that will work better. (we do that kind of **** every 2 weeks at work, and this is the way most people like better)

I think that having only a handfull of people manning your machines is clearly outdated. YouA’ll need a bigger crew to repair stuff, maintain the launch- and retrieval systems, maintain the island itself and worldwide operatives to assist in small tasks, like our dear London operative Miss Penelope. Take a peak into the production process of an F-22; there's dozens of people running around there to build the machines and at least as much are needed just to maintain them. Now, you're not talking the size of an F-22 here, but at least double to tripple the size of one of those, combined with nuclear reactors. I think that a crew in size of what the Enterprise carries is more reasonable.

Hmm, just thinking of something cool: a magnetic rail delivery tunnel for TB3 that comes out of the sea. That'd be awesome...
