    Looking good! Always loved this take on an Ambassador-era Nebula precursor. Keep it up! :)

    After sometime, updates. :)
    - The plateau was redone;
    - The plateau, the upper structures and sec hull were repositionated;
    - the neck wonA’t have torp launchers anymore;
    - the ship is a little longer now, but I believe it makes her better ballanced;
    Is it better?

    I think lengthening it works. It keeps it from looking like it's going to tip over forward.

    Lengthening her by that little bit REALLY makes her look different. It's quite a departure, but I think I like it. She reminds me more of a "full bodied" ship now, and less of a compacted "miranda-ized" version of the Ambassador. I do sorta wonder why Starfleet is fielding these, as opposed to just putting more Ambassadors out there, but I suppose the sensor pod alone would justify the additional class. I'm really enjoying watching this evolve.

    After a loooong hiatus, IA’m back to this wip.
    One more time, IA’m on a complete redo. :D The good news is that I found a low polly version online, which fits perfectly to the original high polly mesh, so, IA’m using it as a placeholder. At this stage, only the sec hull was built by me. All the rest comes from that low polly and will be replaced later.

    ItA’s alive.................. :D
    One year later and after a new redo, here it goes the new renderings. The green parts are still placeholders, and the gray ones are waiting to receive more details. Forgot the smoothing error on her ass, cause it will be corrected later. ;)

    I like this better than the later Nebula class.

    Again, changed the neck. The previous one was to much "thin".
    The sec hull was rebuild too, and added things here and there.

    What, you're not updating your threads on other forums now? ;)

    Looking great, as usual. I like the thickened neck better than the one you had before.

    Updates!
    IA’m still not totally happy with the new pieces, but they arenA’t that bad. IA’ll try to improve over.

    Since the old days of the Wolfpack group (1998), I always admired the Apollo Class buit by Eric Peterson in the old 3ds Max 2. Along the years I tryed to built her several times. In all of them until now, I got frustated.
    After many years of abscence and, after to see the brilliant work of Marc Bell, Chris Kuhn, Alexander Klemm, Gidian Plebuch, Gerard Duffy and others, I tought it was the time to try again, and for the first time I believe that I can do some justice to Eric Peterson. Of course that I can compare my wip with the masters pointed above, but it isn´t that bad this time, right?
    So, here it goes the pics. Naceles, sensor pod, weapons, impulse engines and bridge are just placeholders for now, but I´m confident that I can build them with no problems. 🙂
