Yea, in total, the series had 3 versions of the Connie, that I know of, the 1st pilot version, the 2nd pilot version, then the version we see for the rest of the series, of course, they still threw in some of the 2nd pilot stock shots into later episodes, something the CG remastering corrected.

The difference between mine, and the CBS remastering, aside from the angles being the original more or less, is that in the remastering, the Tholian web had equilateral triangles, whereas mine keeps to the original, which were isosceles triangles...

haha, thanks, simple low poly cylinders with a trial and error glow, animated fractals... how I get the web to appear as the ship moves, I render all except the one together, then I use the one that appears as the ship moves, I just animate a mask in AE to make it appear as the ship moves, there's maybe 10 layers, mostly each individual cylinder and the ship elements, in the first few clips of the video...
... once I get to the later clips, I just rendered all the cylinders except the one I need to make appear out, so in the last shot for example, all of the web is one render, except for the part that is being created by the ship, which is it's own render.

Main changes are the bussard's and the lights inside, still trying to perfect them... it'll be impossible to get them anywhere near the studio model, at least at my current level of knowledge on how to do things...

Yeah, probably the most fun thing in the world is to attempt to recreate the look of 10 little Christmas lights blinking in random patterns inside of a frosted glass dome. Yours doesn't look bad, though the pattern doesn't quite look random and the colors seem a bit off.

Well, I was trying to keep the blinks in some kind of pattern, without being completely random, because I tried completely random, and in some cases there was only one on at a time...
Also, if I had some good references of the studio models light colors... right now, the remastered episodes, are providing me the best references for the lights colors... and I agree about the colors... but I don't have any really good references...
Perhaps, lowering the lights color saturation, so the colors aren't so popping?

Yeah, trying to get the lights to appear "random" is difficult. I don't think the blinking animation is bad, but I think your idea about lowering the saturation is a great one. If you do that, I think you'll be there.

By how much would you say, right now, the colors are the solid for their colors, for example, the red is exactly 255,0,0... for the RGB values, and the saturation is the same, it's value is 255...

I looked at the bussard thing again and I think I spotted what's bugging me: you don't appear to have any white lights in there. Starting at the top and going clockwise, the lights are: white, green, white, yellow, white, blue, white, yellow, white, red. I see the other colors in there but not the white.
Great work so far on the Tomorrow is Yesterday effects.

ok, I'll change the colors of the lights, so there might be some inconsistencies after this point, between the clips that are already done, and the rest... but I'll change the colors...
Thanks, I've been trying to find a F-104 Starfighter... so I just opted for the one that's available for FlightGear.

That's a cool model. I have Flight Gear and I have that F-104. There are two of them in there, one has an extra section on the back. The other should fill in nicely as Captain Christopher's F-104.

I only saw one on the website, which the aircraft is by Erik Hofman...

Yeah, that's the one. The .zip file comes with two variations of the F-104. One has an extra part on the tail fin, the other is more similar to what was on the show.
