The short lived tv series "Space Above & Beyond" had there transport craft modeled similar to Space: 1999. Only difference was the detachable troop transport also doubled as a heavily armed bunker.
I like the carrier. I also really like that the third dropship is "Upside down" to the other two. I'm glad someone is thinking about gravity or in this case a lack of it.
It really reminds me of an old Colin Hay painting for some reason. As you can see it is not scale or shape but I think that the cockpit area just seams more minimal and functional. In Colin's painting there is no canopy but in yours the canopy is almost unnecessary in a way.
Thanks for the comments, more to come. Actually thinking of making a short movie featuring my 13,15 and 17 year olds as well as this ship. We'll see what happens...

I found a copy of Starrigger at my local used bookstore the other day, by the bye, and I really enjoyed it. Thanks for turning me on to that.
Glad to be of service! I'm still looking for the other two books locally, I'm probably going to have to order them...
I see these as all being built with interchangeable parts. Cheaper and more reliable.
A Fellow by the name of Max Grueter created the pilot. Thank you Max.
