Been a long time since my last post , something I am working on @ moment , going very slow .. but slowly we move forward .

Modeled in Rhino , no "textures" yet ( Cinema render), this was suppose to be model for manufacture (each panel done seperate),so am finishing as such . Going to be very interseting with uv layouts ...

hmm, ur going with the official plans and not the hasegawa plans.. i tend to like the hasegawa model becasue it seems a bit longer and thinner at the neck... well.. just my opinion!

Looking Great! always wanted to start modeling some macross!

I just started my last thread with kinda the same statement, "So I've been gone for a long time... ."

Anyway, looking real nice. When you say "suppose to be," does that mean it isn't going be made into a physical model? Will we see the batroid mode?

    Thx Guys --

    L2K – Yes in time

Jenny – Complete this mode first then most things are inplace for Battroid

Jay-mo - Welcome back , saw that . I do this for fun …. I had access to 3d printer @ the time , but good thing is I can always do it in future as the model is NURBS anyway . I have tried saving for 3 printer , but real life always has other plans for my money :D

Sweet. We had another thread out here for the first generation series, but I don't know what happened to it.
Your right to an opinion does not make your opinion valid.

Have you converted in polys for the UVW mapping it? If no how did you managed the NURBS mapping?

Thx oldmangreg , not sure where that went :)

madmatt - There is product called Rhino.io got a demo copy , that allows Cinema 4D to open Rhino Files . I normally convert to DXF and import ...
