Nice Manta, one comment, based on that particular reference, have to dig out some of mine, you shouldn't be able to see the upper intake from that front angle, it drops away too soon.

Ok, I see where you made your mistake, if you look at the reference, there is a line right behind the cockpit, that is the lip of the intake mouth, you have your roundel around that area. The shaded area behind that is actually the exhaust for the upper surface blowers, which would have give it its STOL ability. I think you redid it as a stealth aircraft, so I would eliminate the upper surface blowers and just duct it towards the exhausts you put in, then maybe turn the lower engine nacelles into weapons pods, but it is your drawing so do what you like.

That sir, was uncalled for. I was merely offering constructive criticism for a factual error in your drawing, calling me a caveman was just rude. Besides, never once did I refer to the gray shaded area as intakes, I referred to them as the exhaust for the upper surface blowers, which they are in the actual design. If you cannot take the criticism and advice why open yourself up to it? I am merely trying to help in order to make your work better. Time and again, on this board and others, you have thrown into our faces that you are an engineering graduate student, yet I see none of that in your work, and you have used that excuse for what, three, four years now? Any undergraduate drafting or CAD class would point out these same errors and in many cases would fail you due to them, drafting and CAD classes expect perfection out the gate in prepared drawings. I want to see you do better and become a better artist but your inability to accept critiques is becoming exhausting.

Arguments like this can cause the site to lose it's integrity. This is (for most of us) a hobby. There is no canon that is so important in SCIENCE FICTION to flame over. It is just fiction. Please let up.

I was merely pointing out a factual error in the drawing. The IML Addax-S was a real design, it never made it past the scaled mock-up phase but it was a real design, and I was just pointing out the error. The rest may have been out of line, but I was just referencing Bagera's history of problems with taking critiques and his usual excuses despite that fact, and you can look through this thread to find them, all the times I in particular have offered him helpful advice and pointed him to better references, software, tutorials, etc...
