I found it very useful. Unfortulately your script chops and resizes the image but i altered it to fit my purposes. I tried in on my newest picture and although I kept the effect veery subtle it looks much more 'tv-ish' now. Not the look i was after when doing it but interesting nevertheless.

as limdaepl made it one post above, you can alter the action script too. its quite easy. just click on the triangle on the right side of lens aberrations:normal then youll see the options. if you put up the amount of spherize to 13, 12, 11 the effect gets stronger...
