Here is the restyled model of the "re-scaled" macrocannon.
Obviously, simplified versions of the two macrocannons will take place on battlebarge central hull.
The detailing is very good Andrea , .... Would love to see an animation of this later ... Though I did have a quick bash with your latest render, .. dressed it with a few lights and base texture ... might give you some ideas ... then again .. it might not
@ Liam887: thanks for comment , I don't really know when this piece will come to an end (lot of fun on this piece and ideas too ... there will be also a rapid strike/escort vessel, a personalized mix between imperial light cruiser/frigate and emperor class)
@ Binkerman: Jas, you da man ... fascinating concept and really gothic atmosphere ... in other words, the perfect mix for top level visual goodness and BFG theme rendition. Thank you very much for suggestion and effort on it, always welcome and really appreciated.
Really wonderful to look at the amount of detail you put in here. I can't wait to see it finished and textures (which will certainly be a lot of work). Then again it already looks great as it is.
Really thank you very much for the kind comments mates .
Now I wanna show you the fresh-made Eternal Crusader escort vessel; it's a not a standard light cruiser (Astartes/Imperial hybrid design) totally made reusing the battlebarge bottom bridge geometry

Whoa! That is awesome and anything but light...
More cool ships please : )
How about a cobra destroyer refit ?
In the case of that Light Cruiser there certainly is, there'd be no room for Torpedo magazines or ammunition chambers for the Nova Cannon (or Capacitors if its a Laser Bank) etc.
In any case, if I were to "stat" it for a BFG game it'd have a 5+ Or more likely a 4+ for Prow armour instead of the usual 6+
A wonderful 2010 to all of you mates and ... thanks for comments .
A lot of time has passed since my last update ... meantime, I've given a coat to
the Black Templars cruiser so here is a couple of shots of the thing (black,
white, gold ... and a bit of red, colour scheme)
PS: Jas, I don't know how to do with this stuff yet even cause I'm currently under a battlebarge top bridge heavy restyling phase (more gothic look) and a new project about a Black Templars automated orbital sentinel.
Damn, this beast looks mean.
Designed to inject fear direct into the hearts of the holy emperor, just seconds before crushing them with overwhelming firepower.
Oh wait, it's just a "small" escort vessel for this battlebarge.
Can't wait to see the barge with that colour sheme.
Say, Would you mind if I'd use those renders as a handout for the Dark Heresy campaign I'm running for some friends. A few weeks ago I introduced the cruiser 'Sword of Terra' (yeah I know, a bit cliche but it was late and drunk...) and it's always nicer to have something original to show the players as opposed to some recycled artwork.
Parker & Darkstone, really appreciated comments mates , thank you.
Hi Meph, a wonderful 2010 to you . Thanks for comment and ... there's no problem for me if you want to use this shots in your DE campaign.
