Ok, here are 3 soundtracks from Earth2160 in Dolby Sorround quality. They can be useful for scifi demoreels or short films.

I'm looking for some high rez picture of Earth from space; like from the space shuttle or similar. I checked the NASA site but I didn't really find anything. Can anyone point me in a good direction with a link? Thanks:)

hei guys, i havent noticed any downloads for ship textures.
i have been trying to make some, but i dont have good tuturials, any suggestions, tuturials on texturing a ship?
Check the SFM Tutorials Lost and Found thread, I believe I posted at least one possibly two texturing tutorials from the old days. Also, I know of two others: one is on Better Space, link should be in the "post your favorite links" thread, and there's another that I don't recall the location of but is findable with Google (that's how I found it).
OK, well I though I'd post this here. This is the reference page from my site. Some of the links are from this thread, but there are a bunch that are new also. I'll be updating it on a regular basis as well.
There's a 3d, texture map, graphics, and an image/pdf section.
A very interesting article on greebling. It pertains to greebling lego models, but the design philosophies are applicable to CG. Also, this similar article shows numereous examples of different greeble configurations. Legos again, but the concepts can definitely be translated.
Heya all, as I posted some a model I'm attempting to learn to build, I figured it couldn't hurt to have the reference images be available for everyone! If you are interested in a Photoshop file with ST: TMP Enterprise images setup for ortho reference images, you can find them here. These are from scans right out of the Tech Manual, and are at 300dpi, so should be suitable for anyone who needs them.
I just got back from the Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination exhibit in Fort Worth. I took about 350 8-megapixel images of the 3-foot Star Destroyer, the 4-foot Falcon, the Tantive IV, etc. The best shots are being posted to Photobucket once I've run them through Photoshop for compression and tweaking. The long-term plan is to host them at 3dscifi, possibly as part of a dedicated page similar to what Cloudster did with the 8-foot ISD from Empire.
Two albums are in progress so far, with more to follow. Getting everything posted is going to take some time, obviously.
An awesome set of hi-res photos of the original Battlestar Galactica studio model has just been posted on Resinilluminati. There are hundreds of shots, very nice quality. There's even a downloadable zip file with all of the shots in full resolution, clocking in at over 500 megs.
To continue with all of the reference pictures. Here is my page with almost 500 Star Wars reference pictures of a bunch of models and props. I have thumbnail / contact sheets available as well.
Over the past few years I have been collecting all the IOR (Index of Refraction) values I can find for use in 3d applications and especially with all of the new real world material shaders out there.
I just finished putting together a large IOR reference page with almost 400 materials listed. I'm going to try to keep it updated as well. I hope that it can be useful to everyone out there. If you have any new material IOR values that are not on there feel free to let me know and I'll add them to the list!
Here are 24 free HDRi maps that can be use in 3d apps for lighting. They are all in low, medium and high res. Previews included. They all appear to be equirectangular projection maps.
I just collected all of them and put them in one place in one file. They are free and in the Public Domain according to the authors. If you want to thank someone don't thank me, thank them!

Not sure if anyone has seen this or not yet but the BSG Auction Catalog has some pretty good reference shots of drawings and props and ships, etc. Grab it while you can:
Hello everybody. It is very nice to be onboard this very great forum now. I took an eye over many month on this forum and it is very nice what you reached here so far in this thread. Wow!
The reason I wrote you is because we plan something very great. Our goal is to do a reconstruction of the Enterprise E bridge set but as a non commercial product just only made by fans for the fans. We know that is a very bold project but we want to make it come true. Our goal is to to it also as authentic as and professionell as possible with very small modifications. For that reason we plan to work with original set plans also used for the different Enterprise E film sets. The reconstruction will occur in nearby Berlin in Germany.
The work has already begun but we still need every support we could get. So our team and me saw you postet here a lot of blueprints so far. We need everything we could get in respect to blueprints from the Enterprise E bridge and other stages from Nemeses, First Contact (...) but formally the bridge set. We need blueprints in high resolution to read out the correct dimensions and measurements. So everything could us help. Perhaps you have bought blueprints, copys of blueprints or know somebody who does have blueprints we need. We will also pay for that.
...this is a message to all fans missing the sets we love and know from lots of different Star Trek films and series. Sadly most complete sets are scraped and the professionell work from the set artists is forever lost. Our goal is to make this unhappen
Thanks for reading and your help! Become part of something very great and keep on trekking

Great site, mostly straight art with some modeling. I've found a couple of great wallpapers here.
I did not create these HDRi images. They are all from this guy:
HDRi Pack 1 by ~zbyg on deviantART
And this guy made the high res versions:
