fantastic work, I saw this on Youtube and was delighted to see the Enterprise-A is based on the original Excelsior-class design (not a fan of the E-B at all). a real tour de force

I have chosen a new Enterprise model. The wonderful mesh by Alexander Klemm (Nightfever) is also suitable for 4K renders. So I adjusted the textures a bit and changed the registration to NCC-1701. Now I will adjust the textures of the spacedock to 4K so I can render a first test image.
Working on new render techniques. The shuttle was rendered with an additional ambient occlusion pass. The Spacedock is rendered classically.
Unfortunately, my Final Glow effects do not work cleanly with the AO pass. I'll have to try something else with the Spacedock.
Outstanding work. I love how you used that missing dialog from the shuttlepod scene. Reminds me of when I read the book as a kid. And, of course, your animation is top notch.

Yes in my timeline the next Enterprise will be an Excelsior Class ship.
Thank you
Ah, the old Stealing the Enterprise scene. One of the best scenes in all of Star Trek, IMHO.
This is the last video of my "what if" series. Now I'm going to take a little break.
Thank you
Here is a preview in 2K.
Looks great. However the image is 1080p, not 2K.

Here is the prologue of my new project.
