Old file passwords

I found some older files on CD from before the demise of the downloads section and the archives keep asking for a password to open them.

    Don't have any passwords for old stuff, unfortunately. The archive is just what we had in the Downloads back in 2012 or so,

    Try different versions or software to decompress.

    Winrar used to do this with newer updated compression algorythems. Likely this is due to legacy.

    There is a chance though that the files are corrupt as you mention a cdr. Yes they will copy off and act like good files but with compression any small error will corrupt it entirely.

    Anyhow I would give a older version of the decompressor a try before giving up.
    Each day we draw closer to the end.

    @chronos1981 everything we have is in the Model Archive. That's all the stuff we had on the old server when we migrated here.

    We had a major server crash in 2006, so anything before that is gone forever.
