The stairs on each side of the pit will be interrupted by the consoles, so they won't be this long, but I'm getting there with the shape of that area now:

Loving what you're doing with the original concept. The copper color works very well with the design.

I agree... now that that new sunken level is added, I'm really liking how this concept is translating into 3D.

That design wouldn't look too out of place among the USS Discovery era designs

This is an awesome bridge. I love the colors and I agree with @mdta this design would fit perfectly in the U.S.S. Discovery era. 🖖🏾

There's definitely a bit of Disco hanging out in here. That wasn't really a deliberate design decision, but as I started tweaking them I just kind of found it going there in a way I was still OK with. The Discover designs are actually far better set in the future than in the original timeline so it kind of makes sense it'd work here.

Thanks! Believe it or not, that's 100% procedural. Someone in the Blender Discord helped me out with that material.

This is that material, drilling down into the node groups:

Nice, the bridge really comes to life when someone is on it.

Be funny to see one of these bridges with the kinds of notes and signs that populate an office and workspace.

Conn/ops pit done, as well as the viewscreen:

Going to do some chairs next - I may not completely redo the command chairs at this point; I have an idea that I think will work nicely with the existing pieces.

Maybe for April Fools Day or something.

Dedication plaque placed but not textured beyond the base material:

That'll end up with diffuse/bump/roughness maps later but the base material probably won't change.

I’m loving this bridge more and more. It really belongs in the Star Trek universe!!!!! 🖖🏾

Love what you've done with that deepened bar along the side walls where the dedication plaque sits, a very unique yet fitting touch.

    Thanks!

Chairs are almost done. I still need to do the control pads for the captain's chair, but they're 95% done. Really happy with them at this point, so I won't be completely rebuilding them after all. ;)

These may be the last renders for a little while. The remaining work is all custom LCARS graphics which will be time consuming (and one - the MSD - needs a completed ship first anyway).

    Excellent work!

Are you planning to adjust the color scheme of the LCARS consoles? I think Voyager or First-contact colors would work well here.
