Haven't been modeling in a couple of years, but recently have been getting back into it. Started this model a few years ago, now trying to finish it.

this is going to be amazing, your work so far looks fantastic! Just looking at those thrusters makes me think of all the classic NASA footage of the stage separation.

It looks extremely authentic, and the detailing is gorgeous, too.

Having looked at a good few versions of the rocket over the years, I can tell you've studied the schematics religiously :)

I'd love to see more, so keep up the great work.

Heck yeah, we would. I know this is mainly a Sci-Fi themed forum, but real world stuff like this is where the inspiration comes from.

OK thanks for all the encouragement, it means a lot, especially now, I'm stuck working from home by myself and I'm slowly getting a serious case of stir crazies!

I'd be interested in selling this, so if anyone has any suggestions towards that end let me know.

Sketchfab is probably the best place for that. Or maybe ArtStation. CGTrader and Turbosquid too, although there have been incidents of people just downloading models from here and other sites and then putting them up for sale there. Or just set up shop with Gumroad or something.

In any case, you can promote your stuff in the Releases forum once you figure it out. :)

This is amazing work. Now imagine 3D printing this model with all of its detail in such a way that the components could be separated and inspected...

SpaceX did 3D print the Merlin engines (or at least parts), right? ;)

Working on the LUT service arms. This is SOOOOOO tedious to as well as difficult because some of the reference PDF diagrams I've found don't always seem to match up to real life. So I'm not always sure what the deal is. It's hard to find good clear ref pics of these things.
