Ahhh, and it has the correct deflector rather than the Galaxy kitbash hahaha. Great start!

Looks great, I think the Nebula is very under rated and I wish we saw more of it in TNG/DS9. This base model is an excellent foundation to build details on!

Cool, always liked this class and loved the end of Generations when we get a real beauty shot of her. Good work so far!

The only thing that has ever bugged me about the Nebula Class is how the saucer and the nacelle pylons connect. I've never been able to get good references for it.

I'm sorry I don't have anything constructive to contribute, but I do want to say that this looks fantastic! A lovely model!

small update - secondary hull sensor array - was surprised to notice that it is thinner than the saucer array but also has a different pattern.

The Nebula Class has always been my favourite ST ship and this is looking fantastic. Looking forward to seeing how this progresses.

    Looking good.
was surprised to notice that it is thinner than the saucer array but also has a different pattern.

That's really interesting to note. Probably because it's not one of the parts they could re-cast from the 4 foot Enterprise molds. Since it's a brand new part, there are slight variations.

actually the saucer edge on the 4 foot Enterprise D edge, while proportionally thicker than the 6 foot model, is still much thinner than the Nebula's. The Nebula was originally intended to have a smaller saucer (and thus be a smaller ship) than the Enterprise-D so they increased the thickness of the saucer as part of their down-scaling of the ship. They were going to give the model larger windows to make the ship look smaller but they apparently didn't have time to do that, or indeed, time to include all the same windows as Enterprise D which also explains why the top of the saucer has many fewer windows. I will be sticking to the Nebula's original window pattern though, I feel the Nebula looks a bit off if you make the saucer identical to the Enterprise, so I never liked the CG version of the Nebula we saw in DS9 and Voyager.

Ah, I didn't know they increased the thickness of the saucer. I knew they intended to make the windows bigger and, thus, the ship smaller, but they ran out of time. I think it having less windows is a good thing, it sets the ship apart from the Galaxy class. Same tech, but not necessarily the exact same design.
