Spaceship project. In the Star Wars universe, maybe. This is the basic blocks for the ship. Still don't know if the top laser should be on rails or not. First time I do basic block to design a global shape for the ship. I am also trying 3dsmax 2020, so that might not end well, or I will get used to it.

What's the little mushroom at the bottom of the last picture?
Well, I don't know much about SW ships. You basically see all types of ships in SW, and that includes the textures.
Update:
Sadly, I did a boolean that pretty much broken the sides. I had to take some hours to repair that and some other things. I am still searching for a self luminance (Glow) texture in 3dsmax. I am on QuickSilver render, and I am wondering if this isn't on Arnold only. I am using Physical material, but not sure if that's ok.
Less frustrated now.

I am beginning to. I had to redo the sides again and remove the sliding extrudes. I think I am gonna do that in texture.
Yes. A very simple one. But I want to cut the meshes for panels that will separate colors. Orange and egg white.
If it is a floating vert along a edge you wont see it unless the object is collapsed. So sometimes it looks ok in viewport but you render it does odd things. I used to get this a lot in 2013 with subdiv objects, just had to re align it all even though it visually was aligned. Go fig.
I was able to put a decal with blend on channel 2 and 3 (on the sides). That was arduous, to say the least.
