"In the first Cylon War the BSG Galactica nearly was destroyed during an ambush by the Cylons. Three Basestars had hid in a nebula to overwhelm the battlestar which was returning home from an attack run. In a typical Calon triangular formation they attacked the Galactica from three sides making it impossible to evade enemy fire.
Luckily the BSG Atlantia was nearby to come to the rescue..."

Inspired by the latest battle of the current TV show above New Caprica. Only this time not Pegasus but Atlantia comes to help. The Atlantia is a modified version of the Galactica. I changed some of the armor ( especially at the head and the launchpods ) and changed the texture to bear the name Atlantia, you can barely make that out, though.

    Ekk! Old basestars but new-series battlestars! I wouldn't mix and match unless there was an explanation for the crossovers.

    EDIT: It's good, old Basestars v.s. new Battlestars but it is dark and it focus on the nebula instead of the 5 ships.

    It is a homage, but is meant to take place in the First Cylon War 40 years before the series takes place.


    In the miniseries in the museum you can clearly see all the "old" stuff from 40 years ago, which happen to be those used for the old series. Meaning the old Centurions and Basetstars are meant to be the ones of the First Cylon War.

    it does work. the new BSG was in the first cylon war. the museum on galactica showed old star basestars so it's not a leap that the new style BSG fought the old style basestars within the chronology of the new series.
