Character armor for 3D printing.

I make no bones about it, I stink at character modelling. I had an artist a few years ago create some character artwork for me and I would like to see it come into 3D and then reality. I've been 3D printing my designs quite a bit, so a model that be printed as a figure, or as wearable armor would be fantastic.

I am attaching the reference artwork he sent me as he was developing the armor. I would prefer male and female versions if possible.
