This is something else that I've been working on recently, a complete rebuild of the TIE fighter that I originally posted here almost exactly ten years ago, just after the great crash of '06

I think that the DOF is just the low resolution of the BG HDRI, I don't think that I had DOF turned on in this one.

Actually, I'm not yet convinced that Ansel knows how to texture. I figure his insane modelling skills are simply an attempt to hide the fact that he can't figure out how to work Photoshop.
Looking great so far! Really looking forward to seeing this one come together. :cool:
If that's the case, he compensates quite magnificently.

With hours and hours of uv'ing. On the upside there's a fair amount of detail that is symmetrical across the ship so I can copy the uvs, and there is essentially only one "wing star" copied 4 times, with minor accommodations for the wing struts.
