That's an awesome collection, I reckon the Discovery has to be my fave, that looks really impressive, though I do have a soft spot for some of those alternative Enterprises.
Well, the con was great. I got about 5 orders, and a lot of interested people, so I should be plenty busy for a few months. We also got to meet Colin Baker, so we got a photo with him too. I've got the pics on the Facebook page.
Speaking of, I got the bottom of the Chariot class saucer done tonight.
I should be starting on the neck / secondary hull tomorrow, but that'll be easy compared to this.
Hooooooly Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. That's amazing! I was like, cool, cool, coool.... I KNOW THAT MODEL. That's really neat, I can't wait to see the end result!
While the Chariot class Argo is printing out, I had time to start my next job: a classic SHIELD Heli-Carrier. I hadn't really thought about this thing in a long time, and I had forgotten what it looked like.
I'm using the SHIELD Manual for reference, and several pictures that I've been able to find. Of course, I'm tweaking and adding stuff here and there.
That's pretty neat and good job on the print! I love this design because it's different than most Federation designs. It looks so much like a outboard motor, LOL.
Awesome!! So cool to print your models, now I want to get one. Love that Argo design too...sorta reminds me of their starbases as well as the outboard motor! Haha.. I was thinking how cool it's going to be in a few years when kids can just print their toys on 3D printers!
Thanks guys. It really does look like an outboard, doesn't it?
Well, I'm back to it, after a few days off. I got about half-way done with the paint-job on the Chariot class model, and I got almost done with another Prometheus model.

I've only been able to use a few parts of your original model, but I've been building the new parts along side yours as a template.
Let me know if you might want one.

Next picture will be a printed part.

Hopefully, they will come out like I expect.

The model will be 10'' long, when it's all done.

And, the Argo is printed. I should be able to assemble it tomorrow night.

Updates on the Heli-carrier soon.

More stuff. I got the Helicarrier 3D model done, chopped up, and ready to print.
This thing is turning out really cool.

It really balances great, but I added those little ears on the rod to make it stay put for sure. I had a little tendency to spin.
More updates today... got all the shading done on the Argo, and got the Heli-carrier mostly printed out.
Just have the decals and clear-coat left for the Argo, and it's ready to go.

The Argo is all done, and fixing to get shipped out. I really liked working on this one... I'll be building one for myself, soon.
