Can someone change DS9 station easy?

Can someone easily remove the Habitat assembly from the center of the DS9 station, and replace it with a sphere of same diameter? Perhaps a Borg Sphere? I'd like to see it as a mother ship, using it's 'docking pylons' as 3 partial warp drive rings - to create a 'spherical' warp bubble.
