More so than the L-24 from FASA this looks like the real Klingon answer to Excelsior--Klingon transwarp demonstrator. Perfect for getting diplomats going fast.

    UPDATE...
Had to see another doctor today to get medical clearance for my surgery tuesday. That went well.
I think this will be the last update for sometime while I recover. Been spending most of my time chamfering edges and added some detail to the back of the wing.

    UPDATE...
Just some random greebles I’ve made to speed things up.
    greebles.jpg
I’ve been looking at the front of the ship for a while now and felt it could use a few more details so I started to work on a few new bits.

    UPDATE...
Well I think I’m done with the top detail unless I come up with more ideas.
    2690.jpg
I’m starting to place just a few small details on the bottom.

    UPDATE...
The last update of this ship for a few months. Felt like the forward trench needed some detail so I threw in some simple stuff.

Great looking, definitely a Klingon ship when you look at that last shot! Not too sure about the green interior lighting though - don't Klingons usually have red/orange lighting?

Hope your recovery is going well :)
  • XFozzbouteXFozzboute654 Posts: 1,627Member
Thanks. The green lighting is just temp for now until I see what colors I use for the textures.

    Ah. Fairy muff! :D

(ETA: for anyone not familiar with British tongue, that was a colloquialism meaning "fair enough"... :runs: )

    UPDATE...
New month, old ship. Decided to add a little detail to what I am currently calling The Grand Room. Have to come up with something better.

I consider this part on the bottom the ship done. I left some of it open so I can add the klingon logo.

Fozz once again its looking better than the filming models. Great work man!
  • XFozzbouteXFozzboute654 Posts: 1,627Member
Thank you. But calling it better than the filming models might be a little much. :D

    UPDATE...
Started to add more detail to the wing. The arrow is pointing to two new feathers that I might turn around. I’m just not sure how I feel about them right now.

    UPDATE...
I decided to keep the feathers the way they are. Just didn't want to redo it.
Decided to add a bit to this cut out.
    2811.jpg
    Getting more detail added.

I like the recessed versions. It is a nice juxtaposition with the raised panels right next to it and adds more variety.

    UPDATE...
A little bit more work. Really too busy with other things to get too much.
