I have been wanting to do this for a while now--the TARDIS control room. I found some decent reference at
tardisbuilders.com and
Google Maps' street view of the interior.
Blocked out the scale and just about have the outer wall done.

Correct sir! It was the only one I found good reference for and I haven't modeled an interior before--it seemed a good design for the exercise.
Finished the walls and the entry. Have to do the door next.
I'm not kidding, seriously, go inside.

And thanks for the :thumb: guys.
Here is the current state of things. Some of the railing posts need tweaked and whatever else anyone catches, it's time to build the working guts of this machine.
That's some incredibly smooth modelling.
How's that?:D
(toilet model by hjford is from blendswap.com)
Oh, I see you've changed the desktop theme again....
I did. And now to change it again...
Main console shape is completed along with some generic placeholder textures for the transparent bits.
UPDATED: I replaced the original grainy renders with some smother ones.
And as for the lighting--I initially just created them as placeholders with some minor tweaks to color. I plan on going after a dimly lit look, like a smoky bar in a noir flick. Thanks for the comment; it tells me I am headed in the right direction.
I know. I should have opted modeling one of theirs. Too many bits and pieces on this one. Far too many.
