Hi folks,

Since my first two major film projects (Star Trek I: Specter, and Star Trek II: Retribution) had threads here, I couldn't resist the urge to create one for the third and final installment in the trilogy: "Star Trek III: Redemption." Unlike the previous outings, I present this one as a completed product for your enjoyment and discussion. This one is very different from the first two, but sadly still no voice cast--but hopefully enjoyable nonetheless.

And so, without further ado:

The trilogy this concludes totals ten and a half hours. This film took more than a year to make, and the trilogy has been in production since 2006. Now that it's complete I'm considering releasing the interior sets, as many requested during the production of the first and second films--that is, assuming the SFM download area ever returns.

    Congratulations!
Each of those movies is more like a UK-style short season and you actually manage every time to convey what was so much fun about the TNG era TV shows (as opposed to the movies, which gave us "French Space Rambo" and similar bull$h!t).
As usual, the new movie was very much worth watching as well.

    Congrats!
    Very enjoyable movie!

    Just 3 corrections, in credits:
    - Starship and J. Cassio are the same person: me. :D
    - Medjai and Laercio are the same person too. :)
    - Eric "Flat Eric" Peterson... Not the same person. Eric Peterson is the living legend from Wolfpack, and Flat Eric's real name is Luca. ;)

^ Well, that's what happens when modelers are known by different names in different places. The Erics I can fix; how do you want to appear, as Starship or as J. Cassio?

    (At least I'm thorough.)

Well, you do owe yourself a coffee, but that's a different story. ;)

    Cassio "Starship"
    is fine. ;)
About Laercio, he is my friend since 80's. Laercio "Medjai" Roda is fine. ;)

Is better that someone else pays me a coffee... with chocolate ice cream added. :D

For anyone who's interested, as part of the post-production process I've reworked Scene 58 ("The Battle of Beta Stromgren"), cut some dialogue, changed the music, and improved the visuals. Do me a favor and have a look: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRCw0gQH0pI

Which version do you prefer, the original as it appears in the full cut (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=6DkTT-qmVqk#t=10556), or the new one? Already got one vote in favor of the existing version.

    Two more:

    Scene 16B: "The Time Jump" - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1kcrUX5_WU
Replacing David Fang's cover of "Arkology Theme" with the original version by Matthew McCauley.

And version 2 of the Beta Stromgren revision:

    *snip*

I would have appreciated being put in the sound credits for the 3rd movie, same as the others. You still used the massive sound effects database i provided you at the start of your Trilogy's work.
