So are you going for a cylinder at the bottom for the secondary hull or something more like the Oberth's? (Saw this on Doug's FB)
Your right to an opinion does not make your opinion valid.

Some more of the primary modeling, and before anyone mentions it, yes the Deflector Dish is NOT in place yet.

Is that Flanker? He's been quite prolific, in recent years and loves the ENT era.

Looking really good so far. It's very reminiscent of the Oberth-class.

In all honesty, I'd skip that secondary hull, move the deflector to the bow a la NX-01 and give it a basic sensor pod instead; that blocky part aft of the saucer seems ideal to place a pod on. I'm realy no fan of that secondary hull at all, it's got an unbalanced feel to it. I can understand the drive to make an ENT Oberth but, IMHO, this doesn't work that well...

Agreed with Borgman. The secondary hull makes the design unbalanced and busy.

    No. I'm not 'flanker'.

Bit of background. I'm a program manager for a large defense contractor. I mentioned to VK that the current CO (CMDR Hopper) of HMAS MELVILLE (a deep water survey vessel in the RAN) was a bit of an Enterprise fan. She's run with it. Should freak the hell out of Bryce when I show him the finished product.

Nice work, but I also have to agree with BorgMan.
