    added some mock up turrets for placement ideas
    6 gattling turrets in the recesssed sections on the side
    6 mid sized artillary turrets on the top
    40 missle tubes
    and 2 lrg artillary turrets are going to be placed on the underside havent decided on the placement under there tho
    also is the armourment to much or?

    I don't know if it's overarmed, it depends on it's mission. Is it meant to be a gunship, sort of like an apache attack helicopter or an A10 attack craft? If so they hang as many weapons on it as you can. With all those Gatling type weapons, is she meant to attack lots of light targets, like massacring infantry or is she meant to serve a defense role, shooting down missiles and such?

    With a lot of weapons she might need several dedicated gunners, think on that too unless she has a hel of a lot of computer control. Could she be a heavily armed troop transport meant to carry a force of elite troops to the ground and support them with fire and defense?

    Think on what the ship is meant to do and then ask yourself if she has too many guns.

    its more of an escort role and the gatling turrets are more of a defensive role shooting missles and fighters also this is space so no shooting at troops haha unnless they are in fighters

    k i think i have the dimentions

    H=12m
    L=105.5m
    W= 46m
    3.5 decks
    40 missles
    8 sml artillary turrets
    6 gattling turret
    and 2 lrg art turrets
    15 escape pods

    also is that to small for the dimentions or?

    I like the engine exhaust ports, especially the lower ones. I don't care for the 90-degree plumbing, though.

    (That's probably due to my run-ins with the 90-degree plumbing in my house.)

    Jazz up the intensity and the green might be interesting! Not the blue, tho ... too bright and it'll read Trek, not bright enough and it'll read "window."

    I like the yellow glow. :) Though, the green is nice too.

    Choices choices....

    First off, VERY interesting model. At first I thought it was some type of shuttle or maybe a tug or transport of sorts.

    Second, engine glow thats a hard choice. Green or Red kinda reads as alien for some reason. Blue is a good choice, but it seems itll always be associative with Trek. Yellow and white can be read as light illuminating from windows.

    My opinion, how about blue with some other colour as a sort of tint/noise to it?

    Colbs, I kind of like the purple because it's a rarely seen color. Nice work on the model so far. :thumb:

    this is awful, just like you said about all my 3d warehouse models, "colbs". you should tear the whole design apart and start again, the general shape is unrealistic and the cahnces are that engines powerful enough to propel a starship may well be glowing most brightly in regions of the EM spectrum we cannot see. also you have an awful lot kore crew than would be needed on a starship as by the time technology like this is even remotely possible there will be a heck of a lot more automation. on top of that i am assuming that this brick of a craft is nto atmosphere capable but if so why bother to sort of keep everything within that shel, if it does not travel through air why would it matter if you equipped it better and bolted some of the stuff outside of the hull. if it is supposed to fly in the air then why does it have absolutely no aerodynamic features and look like a slightly angled box. if i could i would give this one star(in grahams number of stars)! remove the spam from my 3d warehouse models and i will remove this from your thread.
    it is space based it doesnt go in atmosphere and what spam are you talking about? and 32 crew for a small 3 level ship is quite small carrieres have like 10 decks and 1500+ crew not to mention this isnt just a fight and flight vessel there are science labs for studying things it is very multi purpose so honestly there should be more crew then 32 but thats all it needs and honestly dont take other site issues to other sites its childish.

    Colb, the design is coming along nicely

    SF, if you are having a personal issue with Colb take it to PM or inform the mods, don't hijack his thread like a little brat.

    the 1 star ratings on every single model of mine on the 3d warehouse, if i could contact you there i would but i can't.
    also it was you who took a disagreement on this ite about how i should model my own ship and used it as an excuse to give 1 star ratings to my models, now you go back and 1 star all of them.

    Whoa, who took a dump in your cornflakes this morning?

    What makes you think you can air dirty laundry from other sites over here? Take your silly feud somewhere else, or better yet, forget the whole dumb thing and concentrate all that energy on creating cool stuff.

    @Colbs, don't be an asshole.

    redid some more of the back sensor pit detail and decided im going to go with the green engine glow sinse it isnt that commonly used.
