i am modifying a model of the valdore warbird(sourced from foundation3d) from star trek nemesis and have had to alter a number of things to import it into blender, it is now looking very good. i have added some flames from the engines but am not sure where to put the weapons, either suggest where would be good or where they are in the movie? thanks.Attachment not found.

Google is your friend. :D Found this by just searching for Valdore weapons.

you can not modify it unless you have permission from the author.
i suggest you ask him first.

Er, is this specified somewhere? Unless it is, and unless spacefighter plans to redistribute it once he's modified it, he can pretty much do with it as he pleases for his own personal use, so long as he continues to credit its original author and note that he's made modification to it.

If he wants to post it or images of it here, he should contact the original author and ask if it's ok to do this. He may already have permission however, depends on the terms he agreed to with foundation 3d or the author.

i have checked, and i can use it as i please provided i give credit to the author( Adam Ross) and do not commercialise it. i am having to make a few modifications because firstly the original was far too detailed for me to use for animation(so i simplified it) and secondly there were no clear positions for weapons(so i will create some), it is a very good model though. i was not intending to post the model here as it is not really mine to do so with. i am taking a look at that link now, thanks.
