Blender : Trying to replicaate light (Can apply to other software)

Hi,

This is a Blender problem but it can apply to other programs (I'm learning 3d Max). I'm trying to replicate the following but I am having a hard time figuring out getting the intense specularity with lights and glossy nodes.

    Try this tutorial

    http://vimeo.com/25078416

It'll cover some principals that you can apply, including the use of nodes and post processing to get your bloom effect

This is what I'm trying to update.

I will check out the video to help with the bloom effect.. I was not happy with the ship texture so I worked on a different node setup.

I think it will look better.

Have you tried sending Tobias Richter a PM and asking him about this light setup? That's one of his renders.

I'll try that. I haven't updated the materials but the second setup will be better.

From the video, I was able to modify the warp effect. I could tone down the glow of the warp effect. What do you think?
