So I haven't done a starship render in 3 years, and also noticed that I had NEVER done one of the Enterprise-D, so being TNG's 25th anniversary, I figured why not.

    Lighting is superb, excellent image!

Did you put boxed windows in, or just change the texture? The windows look very nice, and really add to it.

Also, the blue warp glow, done in 3D app or in post? The glow looks very good while keeping the warp grill detail intact.

    Well done!

Has it been 25 years already??? Great render and image.

Man time flies by so quickly these days. My wife and I used to watch TNG all the time. Funny thing. She watched TNG when she was pregnant with our son. After he was born, every time the theme would play on TV, our son would turn to watch the TV with us. Guess it is true that babies can hear things in the womb!

Beautiful work! It looks just like the shot from "Generations" where the ship angles to jump into warp!

Nice model and composition, but WAY too blue.
