3DCrash, Splash and Eclipse

We Aussies in the Tropical North have a total solar eclipse happenin' on Nov14, and it inspired me to do an eclipse-esque piccy! :devil:

    Interesting, Devil. But two minor critiques:

    1) The lighting on the hull (and icebergs) doesn't match the source.

    2) She's in awfully good condition for a crash. Hull integrity field at max before impact? :)

    Nice work. I like the moodiness of the color.

    Yeah, that's my only criticism on this one. Otherwise, it looks fantastic. I really love the lighting.

    I also agree about the lighting... was very difficult to match the ship (rendered as a .tga image in MAX) to the the scene (rendered in TERRAGEN).

    When I added my usual 'darkness' to the image, it looked much better, but much of the detail was lost, so I opted for a more lighted pic this time... :devil:
