They'll put that guy in an astronauts suit, send him up close to space in a capsule attached to a helium balloon and then he'll jump back down with a parachute. And we did an animation on it:

Done by PeterClausen Filmproduction with AixSponza as the animation studio.

Beautiful work. That is a real actor isn't it? If not, amazing CG work. What am I talking about, the whole thing is amazing and great camera angles! Would look great in 3D.

Thank you. It was done in Cinema4d, sculpting in ZBrush, rendered in VRay.

In all the interiour shots it's an actor. Everything where he's standing outside and falling down it's a 3d model of the suit. We tracked some cg helmets on the face in shots where we only filmed the face as the real helmet did not produce nice reflections on stage. The very first time you see him (looking through the window as the capsule climbs in front of a sunrise) that full cg with a 3d face put in a 3d helmet.

    Very Nice.

Was not too long ago, I saw on a program, that there were a group of folks who are trying to develop
a free fall spacesuit for none other than space diving. And I recall the CG depiction was really cool,
    this one is really good.
