    Looking good. Have you got little low poly interiors behind the ports or just a flat poly with an image? Almost looks like you can see the detail of the promenade in the upper hub portals. Either way very nice work, looking foward to seeing your work on the docking ring.

    Promenade,i made some low poly for behind the windows,now its really low poly..with some different color omni light.Later will make better for this,if make closer images,make the real feel there is the promenade ;)

    Hello guys!
    This crazy month end...after this,i have some freetime for DS9.
    I made some fix in middle section,window size,some poly repair,clean up...and some extra details for inside of habi ring.
    The rest details will be make by texture,only dock ring and pylons left from modelling.
    Sorry for bad window texture =) in moment model is 182.411 Polygon

    I've looked at this station up and down.
    There is no way to fit a Galaxy in those arms and at the same time a properly scaled Defiant to the station.
    Scale up the station Defiant is too small. Scale up Defiant and it's nearly 350 meters long. Even if you did scale up the station all those windows and the promenade become way too big. What a nightmare.

    i agree with this,promenade window not easy theme on this :)

    Oh my god... I never knew that little node with windows was ever there. I've always wondered what it looked like up here, at least now I know what it's like on the outside.

    Yeah, that was the observation port for the dock. I remember it from the plastic model I put together back in the '90s (that, sadly, was destroyed by my cat.)

    Looking awesome so far, even with the lack of references.

    This is really nice. Now we all can crib from another.

    @admins: I think we need a new sub-forum: DS9 Modelling challenge

    Loser of the DS9 challenge has to post a pic of their station on its' side like Empok Nor.

    Love that angle of the upper docking pylon. Looks like a scorpion tail ready to strike.
