1.5 kilometer ship breaking up into a minefield : Novel reference material

Greetings!

I am looking for someone to build a super-simple, non-textured, very quick animation in 3D. In the text of the story, a 1.5 kilometer long spacecraft, a symmetric cylinder 250 meters wide, breaks up (on purpose, as designed) into a mine field that's 160 kilometers long by by 80 kilometers tall by 5 kilometers thick.

The spacecraft is actually in the middle of three layers of mines, each layer forming a sequentially less dense layer with 45000 in the first, 15000 in the second, and 5000 in the third.

I've got all the relevant math done (correctly, I think) regarding surface area, thickness, etc, but what I'm looking for is someone to turn it into a rough animation of the ship deploying the minefield. This would help with both my sense of scale and allow me to try and visualize what observers at varying distances in the story are seeing.

[email protected] if you're interested.

Come on....if you do it, someday, when the movie gets made, you'll be able to say..."Hey! I did the mock-up of that entire scene!"
