    I'm glad you like them.

I've started updating another one. I think it needs a lot more detail. This is one of the few - maybe only - asymmetrical ships I've done.

Started on another one. I haven't changed anything except for the wings and missiles, so far.

I like that a lot. It looks like something that could have been invented in an alternate WW2 era.

Yeah. I was worried at first about going in that direction, but was convinced to keep going.

Added some more materials and replaced a few details. Forgot to turn the torpedo layer on.

Yeah, a lot of people like retro Sci-Fi stuff. In fact, I'm one of them. :)

I like some retro scifi, Originally, this wasn't supposed to be retro-like, but it insisted.

I was adding a few small things, when I was half asleep. I have to figure out how to undo what I screwed up and put things back the 'right' way.

Oddly enough, that's when I'm most productive and do my best work. I'm not sure what went wrong with your model, but then we are our own worst critics.

It's nothing major. Just some little details I'll probably never render close enough for anyone else to notice the 'problem'. Those little dark ovals are maneuvering thrusters, and they're supposed to be two different shapes, but I joined them together, and they're different from the ones on the rest of the ship.

Only the cockpits to finish. I hope I can get it done before the new year.

Reworking a space station from a while back.

    build0103b-thumb.png

I'm changing it from a five-fold radial symmetry to six-fold, because... something. It's about two kilometers tall. It's called Tenscore Station.

Doing bits and pieces all over the place. Some details and lighting still to go.

I really like that design, nice and utilitarian. Also, the lighting is looking great.

It looks great. I especially like how you did that colorful glowy section up top.
  • rojrenrojren2298 Louisville, Kentucky USAPosts: 1,970Member
Thanks. The glowy section is a park with autumn foliage under the dome. I think I picked the wrong transparency setting, so it's more frosted looking than I was expecting.

Autumn foliage in space. There's a thought. Looks great.

I'm reworking another old ship. I've just worked some on the engines, so far.

I had to look that up. The Y-Wing knock-off?

    Working my way forward...

Great angle on the left. Cool Design.
  • rojrenrojren2298 Louisville, Kentucky USAPosts: 1,970Member
Thanks. The original version was one of those designs that look good from one or two angles, but bleh from all the others. Hopefully, I can fix that with the new version.

It's been slow going, lately. I've got a bit of a repetitive stress injury going on with my mousing hand. Time to try out some ergonomic trackballs.
