3DCruising For A Bruising

Since I finished the D5 I had to do something with it. Because of my craptacular computer it took me 11 hours to render this in Mental Ray. And then I noticed some issues with the D7′s textures that I didnA’t get when I did the test image. Oh well no way was I gonna sit around for another 11 hours to fix the textures.

    Really like this image. Nice use of motion-blur to give the ships a more dynamic feel. Really like the lighting choice.

    I love it!
    Have you ever considered adding Bird of Prey-ish type wings ( add the pulse-phaser type weapons placements on tips, etc.) to the version with the warp nacelles? (see the one in the bottom left for a different conposition). Just for experiments sake. The wings don't even have to move. Just an idea.
