You didn't do the part where the Warbird is chasing the scout. Everything that you did looks great, though. :thumb:

Rather than tinker with changing the explosion in this project, albeit I think it looks nice, but I'll just leave it as it is... I've often found that tinkering with anything can end up making it look worse...

    Great work!

In some ways it's a continuation of the more naval-themed Federation Nicholas Meyer created when he rescued Trek from its sorry state after TMP's financial performance while in others we see the crew fight through a living nightmare. One of the many reasons why this is one of my favorite episodes.

VERY nice! Darn near brought a tear to my eye when the Enterprise-D came about firing full phasers.

It's completed, on schedule, before my birthday. :D

I'm going to do "The Naked Now" FX... and I might immediately go back to BOWB Part 2 afterward... not sure... since this FX video was quite an undertaking... for me anyway... plus, it might be a while before I have all the assets for Part 2... so I may go "The Naked Now" and then "Lonely Among Us," not sure yet, I do know I'm doing "The Naked Now" next.

I've seen that episode a lot and I never realized there were that many log entries in it. ;)

The animations and effects look awesome, dude. :thumb:

    Hi Chris,

have seen this video and followed your progress. Must say the qualitiy of your CGI now is very well done.

But why did you recreate the VFX of the TNG without changing anything. The original VFX shots looking so awful and sometime static, with your experience you could do so much more to the VFX, to get them more realistic.

Come on man, now you can do this.

Looking forward to your future work.

I'm going to work on more comparison videos for TrekCore, then I'll get to the emergency departure sequence.

I also added a little 'In Memory Of...' to the beginning... due to the passing of Neil Armstrong...

It's done! Muahahahaha! I might go onto restarting "Peak Performance" from scratch or some other Star Trek franchise, perhaps another TOS project... not sure yet.

It's done, sorta. When and if I get a better warbird, I'll swap this one out and replace it.

I say "kinda," because I'm thinking of going back in and and fixing the cosmic string effect, so this may be uploaded again, with a somewhat more 3D looking fragment, even though a cosmic string is a theoretically supposed to be 1-dimensional...

    Update:
My efforts turned out to be less ideal than how it currently looks... so I'll just leave it.

haha, I might pop in a disc from the Season 5 blu-ray.

I just haven't had the time plus I was wanting to get the rest of the seasons before watching them. I haven't watched TNG in years.

haha, well, you'll be waiting a while longer, Season's 6 and 7 are due out sometime later this year... I'm going to say, Season 6 is late spring early summer, maybe.

For my next animation, it's going to be a short sequence, but not of the Enterprise D... but rather of the Enterprise E. :) Then a short video of the Enterprise D AND THEN, I'm going to revisit my first attempt at the final battle from "Yesterday's Enterprise."

After that, I may revisit some of my older animations, perhaps the ST:VI battle? TMP Wormhole sequence? Something with the NX-01 Enterprise?

I'm still deciding between a few things, on what I should do next, I'm working on some model conversions right now, so, who knows...
