3DU.S.S. Defiant Post-Retexture

I've been messing with animation since finishing up the retexture and light rigs but I also did a few renders of the Defiant and I just haven't gotten around to posting them yet.

Well here they are... No post work on these other than adding credits to the renders.

    Excellent work! It's amazing how, even after all these years, the design of the TOS Enterprise (or in this case, the Defiant) doesn't look outdated. Even with the use of CGI, better detailing, and more realistic lighting than they had when the series was made, the shape still works perfectly. Spectacular!

    Thanks guys. Your comments make all the trouble I went through retexturing this model worthwhile. Not just that but making the move to Mental Ray and MR materials has been a huge boost in the outcome of my efforts. :)

    Thanks, and yes I am. I'm much happier with these models now that before.
