Whoa, dude! It's been a while, but man! You got 'em done!
Well, not done.. But I realized that with everything going on in my life I may never truly complete these huge projects, so why not open the fun up to the community? The main structures are done, just needs someone with time to complete the detailing.
These are fantastic, man! The Nostromo has all the right proportions and details I can think of. And flying into the bridge via the viewports is too cool! Thanks for posting!
(BTW: maybe its adware on my Mac, but when I used the "add picture" button in quick reply, it redirects me to a very crafty adware site. Had to clean my Mac afterward.)
How long did this print take?
What file format are you using?
Would it work better if I broke it up into pieces that can then be glued together?
I think removing detail would be good too.

No idea how long. I submitted it via my library's web page and they emailed me in a couple days when it was ready.
I converted it to STL. Not sure if breaking it up would help. The hard-to-clean-up spots were the landing gear, the rear engine exhausts, and the bow antennae.
Guys I am deeply troubled and don't really know what to do at this time. I discovered that someone has misappropriated some of my work and am not sure if I should just let it go, and work to better protect my hard work in the future, or if I should find someway to defend myself.
DAZ is stating that Tesla3DCorp has the right to "Add value" to the model and my request to have this removed has been denied.
What REALLY burns me in this regard is that I have looked at just a few of Tesla3DCorp's other sets and have found countless thefts of work throughout.
I have never had any issue with a hobbyist - or probably even a professional using stuff I have worked hard on. But when someone outright takes mesh with out an acknowledgment and claims it as his own (making money on it no less) It really hurts...
If you go through his stuff and see something that belongs to you, I am sorry, I know how you feel....
Wow, that's terrible. I'm sorry to hear this has been done to your great work, Starrigger. I'm not sure what you can do about it, unfortunately, since you already tried contacting Daz about it.
Daz's position is the most troubling part. They're basically saying that Tesla3DCorp can take your freely released work and make money off of it. And, of course, they make money off of it too. That's a very unethical position for a company.

I recently had a copy of your model printed and have been working on it, one snip of the needle-nose pliers at a time! Here's a few snaps of it:

Wow looking good, did you convert the SU file to STL? Are you using your own printer or ordering online?
Yes Google is often showing this site is compromised
