Decided to put all my WiP stuff into one thread so it's easier for me to keep track of and for people to comment on in one spot.

Up first is my Battlestar Prototype and the Raider Prototype/w Pilot.

    Looking really good so far :thumb: It's hard to tell from the screencap of the pod if it's good or not but the raider is extremely well-done, especially the maps ... so probably the pod is good as well :D Looking forward to seeing more !

    Is the battlestar going to be a Valkyrie or your own design?

    I'm using the Valkyrie as a rough template for the landing pods and forward section but am designing it to be a much earlier iteration of it.

    You can thank Alain Rivard (al3d) for a lot of the cleanup work/texturing on the raider, he's been a tremendous help throughout it's design process.

    Are you basing this project on the original series or the newer one? I ask because the Cylon Raider has some very definite similarities to the Colonial Viper. This would make a certain amount of sense if your project is set up as part of the newer show, since in that universe the Cylons were built by humans. If it's meant to be part of the original, though, the similarities don't work because the Cylons were built by an alien species with no connection to the 12 Colonies other than as adversaries. Just wondering?

    New series, i thought with Caprica being cancelled and them actually showing proto-cylons what would one of the first raiders look like.... :)

    Wouldn't have fit in with what I have in mind for the end result :) But it is a nice concept.

    Looks like a great raider. Am working on 2nd fan episode BSG-TOS- since losing what I have made am using others Models.
    This would look nice in it. Is BSG the 2nd coming still a possibility?
