I got sketch up recently and I was pleasantly surprised to find how easy the program was to use. After a week of tutorials this what I was able to do. Although it's not complete this is probably the most complete model I've ever done.

I love this fighter. It's second only to the Vampire but I felt this would be a good beginner's model to work on because it didn't have a high amount of curves.

What I haven't figured out yet.

('1. How to do curvy fuselages with the follow me command.
('2. How to create my own textures.

At this point the Wasp started to task the processor of my laptop even though it's a 512 card. I only have 1 gig of Ram so I'm looking to up grade but I'm pleased at the job this program was able to do.
I am very open to any and all suggestion on this WIP

And now the screen shots.

Good job. I like it. I also use Sketch Up but v6 since i don't like v7 very well. To make curves u can use the arc looking symbol or use the circle. I found out on having a model in the megabytes taxed my fathers computer but not on my own laptop as badly.

Looks good so far. When you mentioned the Wasp in my Hornet thread, I was trying to remember which one it was. Now I remember. :)
