3DTAS Independence Class Freighter: looking for resources

I'm thinking about meshing up a version of the Independence class freighter seen in the animated Trek episode "Pirates of Orion". I have some resources, but they conflict quite a bit. I think I've also seen a 3d version of this online, too, but I can't remember where.

Any advice on building tis thing? It's a bit different from the usual Connie variant, but intriguing.

Well if you are talking about the Independence class, then go with the blueprints done by MJ.

But if you want to be tryer to the TAS episode, then go with the Huron.

You might also find this helpful:

They're not exactly the same, but it might give you some ideas for adding detail.

Hi, the 3D versions of the Huron and Independence Class from the thumbnails you posted are both ones I built and rendered some years back using 3D Studio Max. There are various pictures of these and a couple of other variants on my website at http://mateengreenway.com/

    Why not do both?

I drew the 4-view schematics that you show. I did them a few years ago based on screen caps, and I think they're the most accurate to the onscreen appearance. The Independence plans only vaguely resemble the ship shown onscreen.

Sorry to take so long to reply. Thanks, Masao and Mateen! I'm a fan of both of your works.
