Hi !
instead of opening a new thread every time i play with a viper, i'll just put them here.
I'll start with a few custom paint schemes.
Vigilantis squadron (classic theme) :
Two seat viper. Vigilantis squadron.
Two seat viper - ELINT. Vigilantis squadron.
Skull squadron :
FASTPACK. Skull squadron :

i uploaded the 2seated version and the ELINT in vigilantis colors.
2seater still has some serious UV problems on the belly.
I just uploaded the fastpack in skull colors
I think he meant that he added them to the above post, because there aren't any files in the approval queue for the downloads section.
several millenniums i supposed.
Bummer.
The FASTPACK Skull squadron looks like it can kick some serious ass! :P

galactica never had enough firepower. so i crossed it with some macross stuff

and yep its the same viper as in my reel. (i'll update it one of these days. i have better shots to show)

I think i'll make the whole set of pack maps for this one.
i've started also an armor pack, but it's still too early to show.
I LOVE the 2-seater variant! It looks excellent!

light looks a bit different, its because my computer corrupted my hdri file, so I had to put another one.

here's the early stage of the armor pack
featuring (as for now) :
thick armor plates
big guns
big caliber rockets
extra thruster + extra reverse thruster
you may recognise the same big gun as in the fastpack
are you using mental ray?
nope, this is vray.
I sometimes used mental ray, but Im proficient with vray.
with low settings and an hdri

redid some parts
added handles and hooks to ease the installation and maybe add extra stuff (like nukes
front will be bigger.
and i still dont know with what i will protect the canopy
