Hey everyone!

Well, everyone seems to be going Rainmaker, and I felt quite tempted to try it myself.

I started with the buildings at the center of the city, so here is a couple of pics.

Let me know what you think! :-D

so far your version is the best! Probably it was 'low poly', but the texturing work was outstanding!

I thought there was only two Atlantis, the rainmaker and the other one. there's really 3? weird.

If it helps, check out alecm's gallery, he's got HD renders of the rainmaker atlantis from most angles, probably useful for references.

This is the Rainmaker version. The III in the title just means that this is the third version I work on.
The first one I did was the Atmosphere version, the second one was the variation they did on the Atmosphere version later on (which is almost the same), and the third one is this one.

    Hope I cleared that out.
    I'm attaching another pic.

    Another update.
I finished some buildings. I think I have two more left and then the little ones all around and I'm done with the buildings on this pier. I have to start working on the pier itself though.

    Stupid question: What is Rainmaker?

If I'm not mistaken its the company that created the season 1 Atlantis and did all the VFX i think. And imo the best model of Atlantis. Great work here Atlantean!!

Hey guys! ;) Indeed, Rainmaker is the company that made the first's season city.

Here's an update on the pier. Buildings are done and so is the greeble on the platform. I'll start working on the pier structure now, and the stardrive.
    Hope you like it :-D

Brilliant stuff and very inspiring! i especially like the closeup and that you added the walkway and railing that sort of attention to detail is just great ;)

    Thanks Omnipotent! :-D

Here's another update on the main structure. I've done the three different endings on the piers and now I'm working on arranging the buildings.
    Hope you like it :D

    briliant stuff, epic ;)
mind if i ask what your current polycount is?
and what do you predict it being in the end?
also will this version feature the stardrive?
oh and could we see a wireframe?

;-) I'm glad you like it so far.

Poly count right now is 1.5 M polys. That is, the three piers and most of the center of the city. So lets say I think it'll go up to about 3 M with the stardrive, maybe less.
I'm attaching the wire render. ;)
