Btw, the charge level indicator will not stay like this, I'm looking for a more elegant solution.
One of the guys over at the WALLA·E Builder's Group called mranderson made an LCD version for his physical model. You could do something along the same lines with an animated texture. You can download a video of it here (9.7 MB).

The tracks will really need to be 1on1, so really accurate, also modeling the rubber inserts and connecting elements and all
