OOO I dream of the day I can do things like this. Excellent work, IRML. Simply excellent. Also interesting to see you texture while you model. Usually I see people wait until modeling is done. Interesting. I hope this goes even beyond what I see here.

That is an excellent ship, and an even better observation lounge. Keep up the good work. I look forward the the rest of the interiors... I'm a junkie for them. :)

I like the way ya made the obervation lounge to make the look more realistic when ya look into the window.

I bet this will be a highly detailed Enterprise E I have ever seen.

    Great job

Good job here. Love the fact that you are mdelling the actual Bussard collectors themselves rahter than just the glass (or whatever it is!) covering that we usually see. Sweet.

Hope to see more of this when you have a chance to update.

Simply amazing! I love the minor details that were put in. Do you plan on doing other sections of E? The bridge, or main engineering perhaps? Sovereign class is one of my favorites, next to the Galaxy. Hope to see this one when its done!

Hot DAMN man! This looks quite simply incredible...Question though - With the baked textures, how long does it take to render an exerior close-up of the saucer with the interior showing? (Similar to the shots in the first lot of attachments...).

How the hell you are going to render this thing once it's finished I don't know...But at the rate you're going, but 2010 when the thing's finished, we'll probably be using 12-core 16Ghz CPUs anyway. ;)

Seriously, this is mind blowing work.

it doesn't take very long, depends on the lighting setup really, but adding the lounge makes virtually no hit on any render times at all

    Two words: HOLY MACARONI

Is this going to be as detailed as the Intrepid Class you started? If so, you've got you're work cut out.
