Hi all,

Well I said I was gonna do it, so I finally got around to it :)

Warp Streaks in Lightwave 8.

I hope it's helpful.

If you spot any glaring mistakes, please let me know, and as always, C&C always welcome :)

looks good, what you need now is to duplicate that small batch and make longer ones (maybe a medium and a large size verion) and put them all together. In star trek, there is usually 3-4 different length streaks in the one warp effect which gives it the illusion of moving very fast.

That's really easy to pull off, just create a smaller amount of particles with the emitter object and simply clone it twice and assign the different length streaks to each of those emitters.

    Simple :)

i attampted to follow your tutorial, but it doesn't give me a choice to have more than one copy. Instead, it asked me what node to use
