Had a request for this ship last year. Before Redfern mentioned it, I'd never heard of it.
I couldn't do it right away as refs for this ship are rare and mostly useless. Finally found
some good pics on a pair of Facebook pages, and here she be, almost done.

I always liked that ship... except for the solar panels/radiators.

That's really sweet. I have no idea what it's from, but I like it.

I like the design lineage of this ship. Your CG version looks nice.

Looks like it was heavily influenced by his work on Space 1999.

Nice! Never heard of it either but I like those projects more! It's fun to find those weird esoteric models out there. Great job on it.

Great design, I loved it. I often thought about building it myself but I think the control area would be too much of a challenge. bravo

I watched it on TV in the 70s, around the time of Star Wars I don't remember ever seeing it repeated again. but it had Nick Tate aka Captain Carter from Space1999, Brian Blessed Flash Gordon and Space1999 season 2 guest star.

it was aimed at kids and tried to reflect the reality of Space travel at near lightspeed, Dobler shift and time dilation.

    it was fun

Your model is just LOVELY! I remember watching the original. Not as good as Space:1999 or UFO, but it was fun.
