Chris Kuhn made this excellent model, and I couldn't resist doing a flyby shot of it.

I know there's no audio, but I can still hear the low thrum of the engines when I watch this.

Very nice, did you take over the materials from Chris?

I used his texture maps, but customized them a bit, and made my own hull shaders.

That's an excellent model and a fantastic flyby. I really like the lighting and your materials are awesome.

It's a shame we never got a movie or TV show that centered around this design, it's really one of the best looking Star Trek ships of all time, in my opinion. Seeing flybys like that on a weekly basis would never get old. :)

Sorry I'm late to the party. Nice animation (as always)! Are you still using 3ds max? If so, I'd love to get some material advice when using a lot of these awesome conversion meshes. I'm a little rusty as I'm just getting back into 3D after a long break, but you always seem to nail texture and lighting. I love the way the highlights roll in your animations too. Extremely well done!
